Trinity Library
The mission of the Trinity Lutheran Church Library is to support the mission of Trinity Lutheran Church by providing and promoting materials for all ages to:
- support the educational work of the congregation
- increase knowledge of Lutheran, other Christian, and non-Christian faiths
- enrich worship life
- provide information on social issues
- deepen and enhance personal faith
- foster an appreciation of good books and reading
The Trinity Library is open to all members of the Trinity Lutheran Church community;
The library is located in the narthex of the church building near the south entrance.
The collection consists mainly of books (approximately 4,000) and is divided into several sections:
- Adult non-fiction
- Adult fiction
- Large print
- Intermediate (upper elementary/junior high school)
- Primary (infant through primary grades)
A print catalog, found in four loose-leaf binders on top of the primary shelves, serves as the index (catalog) to the collection.
The Trinity Library is managed and maintained by a subcommittee of the Communication Committee and open to any member of Trinity Lutheran Church who is interested in supporting the mission of the subcommittee. For more information, please call the church office at 344-2869.
