Confirmation
Trinity’s Confirmation program is for students in grades seven through nine and the first two months of grade ten.
Seventh and eighth graders and their families meet on Wednesday evenings. One year they complete and Bible survey which includes the major themes of the Bible and persons of the Old and New Testament. The next year the basis for instruction is Martin Luther's Small Catechism.
During either seventh or eighth grade students attend one week of Confirmation Camp at Crossways Camping Ministries.
Ninth grade students work one-on-one with a mentor who helps them integrate their faith with daily living. The mentors and the students complete a study to assist the student in developing their faith project. During this year the students attend a week end retreat and complete a final unity on Lutheran teachings.
The entire Confirmation program is designed to prepare students to affirm their baptismal covenant. Tenth graders are confirmed on Reformation Sunday.
